Meta's pixel

This website uses the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). When it runs, it tells Meta which pages of this site you visited, along with technical details such as your browser, device and IP address, and it can store cookies on your device.

This site uses that to measure how its ads perform and to show its ads to people who have visited. Meta also uses the information to provide its measurement services and to target and deliver ads, and may combine it with other information it has. How Meta handles it is set out in Meta's Privacy Policy.

Google's tag

This website also uses Google's tag for Google Ads. When it runs, it tells Google which page you visited and whether you clicked "Email me", along with technical details such as your browser, device and IP address, and it can store cookies. This site uses that to see whether its Google ads lead to enquiries. How Google uses the information is set out in Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

In the European Union, the UK, Switzerland and India, the pixel and Google's tag only run after you accept them.

Your choice

You can turn the pixel and Google's tag on or off for this site at any time. One choice covers both, and it is saved in your browser.

Opting out of ads based on your activity

Change the ads Meta shows you in your Meta ad preferences.
Change the ads Google shows you in My Ad Center.
In the US, use the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page.
In Europe, use Your Online Choices.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings.

Email

If you email me, I keep your message so that I can reply. I don't sell it, and I don't share it except as described under "Practices I have emailed" below.

Practices I have emailed

If I have written to your practice, I may share the business email address I wrote to with Meta, so that my ads can reach the same person on Facebook and Instagram. The address is scrambled (hashed) before it leaves my systems; Meta uses it only to look for a matching account and then deletes it, under Meta's Customer List terms.

To be taken off, reply to any of my emails asking me to stop, or write to ayush@gondleyconsulting.com. You will be removed from the list within a day, and I won't email you again.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles the technical details of each visit (such as your IP address) to deliver the page and keep the site secure.
